Biography
Hi! I'm Sarah DeWitt - a high school student and aspiring filmmaker.

One of my greatest passions is learning. Through the past year in ISM I, I've had the opportunity to lay the groundwork for making films. This year, I hope to hone those skills in ISM II and ultimately tell impactful stories and express myself creatively!
​
Although I love all things film, I also have other hobbies I like to invest my time into. I love traveling, hiking in the mountains, writing poetry, and dabbling in music composition and production.

After 17 years on earth, I discovered my love for stories and my fascination with capturing them through a camera lens! As my ISM journey and mentorship progresses, I hope to do nothing short of telling great stories that will inspire and impact others.

About ISM
Independent Study and Mentorship (ISM) is a rigorous course available for junior and senior students in the Frisco Independent School District. With core values of professionalism, effort, and initiative, students in this course develop skills such as research, networking, interviewing, public speaking, and more.
Once a student is accepted into the program, they focus on their career of interest and contact professionals in that industry, seeking a mentor who will help guide the student in their original work and towards their final product they must present at the end of the year. As students set sights for the future, ISM allows students to gain opportunities and develop professional skills that will help them succeed as they enter adulthood.​
